A ski trip to Remember in Sestriere

Students and staff from Whitchurch High School have recently returned from a highly successful ski trip to Sestriere, Italy, enjoying a week filled with challenge, progress and unforgettable memories.

Sixty students of varying experience levels took to the slopes, from complete beginners to advanced skiers, all showing excellent enthusiasm, resilience and determination. Over the course of the week, students made impressive progress, building confidence, developing new skills and tackling a wide range of slopes in beautiful conditions. Instructors praised students for their positive attitude, effort and politeness, highlighting how well they represented the school throughout the trip.

Beyond the skiing, students enjoyed spending time together in the resort, taking part in evening activities and supporting one another, creating a strong sense of teamwork and community. The trip concluded with a celebration evening recognising students’ achievements and progress.

The Sestriere ski trip was a fantastic experience that helped students grow in confidence, independence and resilience. We are extremely proud of how they conducted themselves and grateful to the staff who made the trip such a positive and enriching success.
