Student Achieves Top Honour at National Sports Awards
We are incredibly proud to share some outstanding news from the GLL Sports Foundation Awards Evening, where one of our students, Aleiyah, received the prestigious Rhodri Morgan Award, the highest honour of the evening.
The awards celebrated the achievements of approximately 120 athletes, made up of both children and adults, all of whom compete at high levels in their sport, including at international level across different countries. These athletes represented a wide range of sporting disciplines and exceptional standards of performance.
To be selected from such a strong and diverse group highlights the exceptional nature of Aleiyah’s achievements. The Rhodri Morgan Award is presented to one athlete whose accomplishments, dedication, and impact in sport truly stand out, making this recognition particularly meaningful.
Aleiyah’s success reflects not only sporting talent, but also the determination, discipline, and commitment required to compete at an elite level. This achievement serves as an inspiration to other students and demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work and perseverance.
We are extremely proud of Aleiyah and the positive example she sets within our school community. Her accomplishment is a credit to herself, her supporters, and everyone who has been part of her journey.
