Year 8 Students Win Anti-Racism Competition
We are delighted to celebrate the success of two of our Year 8 students, Ingyin and Zaina, who have been named winners in the Race Equality First Anti-Racism Competition.
The competition attracted over 1,000 entries from 20 schools across the region, making this achievement particularly impressive. Ingyin and Zaina’s submissions were recognised for their creativity, imagination, and powerful messages highlighting the importance of celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion.
Both students produced inspiring pieces of artwork that reflect a strong commitment to anti-racism and equality. Their work stood out to the judges as thoughtful, impactful, and highly original.
As part of their achievement, Ingyin and Zaina were presented with their award by Welsh radio and BBC presenter Jason Mohammed, making the occasion even more memorable and special.
This is a fantastic accomplishment and a proud moment for our school community. Well done, Ingyin and Zaina, we are incredibly proud of you.
