Whitchurch High School Students Enjoy Memorable Paris Trip
Seventy-seven students from Whitchurch High School recently returned from an unforgettable three-day visit to Paris, packed with culture, excitement, and new experiences.
The trip began with a thrilling day at Parc Astérix, where students enjoyed a range of rides and attractions. This was followed by visits to some of the French capital’s most iconic landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, offering breathtaking views across the city.
A highlight of the visit was a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of the Stade de France, giving students a unique insight into one of Europe’s most famous sporting venues. The group also enjoyed a relaxing cruise along the River Seine, taking in many of Paris’s historic sights from a different perspective.
Students had the opportunity to explore the charming streets of Montmartre, where they sampled delicious local cuisine and enjoyed some free time for shopping in one of the city’s most picturesque districts.
On the journey home, the group visited the impressive Nausicaá National Sea Centre, adding an educational and engaging final stop to the trip.
With temperatures reaching 30°C throughout the visit, students showed great resilience and enthusiasm, always maintaining high spirits. Their behaviour and attitude were exemplary, and they were a real credit to the school.
Overall, the trip was a fantastic success, providing students with lasting memories and valuable cultural experiences.
