Little Shop of Horrors Blooms at Whitchurch High School
The curtain has fallen on Whitchurch High School’s spectacular production of Little Shop of Horrors, bringing an unforgettable week of music, drama and creativity to a close.
From the very first rehearsal to the final bow, our cast, band, crew and creative team demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience and teamwork. Their hard work paid off in a series of outstanding performances that captivated audiences and filled each evening with laughter, suspense and show‑stopping musical numbers.
The production was led by Director Miss Leonard, with Mrs Jones Price as Musical Director, and together they guided students through a demanding and ambitious show with energy, passion and high expectations.
Reflecting on the experience, Miss Leonard said: “I am incredibly proud of every student involved in this production. The commitment, teamwork and creativity they showed throughout rehearsals and performances was inspiring. Watching their confidence grow and seeing the finished show come to life on stage has been a real privilege.”
Audiences were full of praise for the quality of the performances, the live band, and the impressive technical elements, all of which showcased the depth of talent within the school. The enthusiastic support from families, friends and the wider community made the experience even more special for everyone involved.
Beyond the performances themselves, the production provided students with invaluable opportunities to develop confidence, collaboration and leadership skills, as well as lasting memories that will stay with them long after the final curtain call.
