International All‑Star
Whitchurch High Student Represents the UK on the International Stage
Whitchurch High School is incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Harvey in Year 10, who has just returned from an extraordinary international theatre experience in the United States.
Harvey was selected to represent the United Kingdom as an International All‑Star at the prestigious Atlanta Theatre Festival—an exceptional honour and a testament to his talent and dedication.
Before the festival began, Harvey spent an intensive week in New York, where he received specialist training to prepare a compilation piece from Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. This professional-level coaching helped him hone his performance skills ahead of the international auditions.
Upon arriving in Atlanta, Harvey auditioned on the very first day and achieved something truly remarkable: he secured one of the main roles, playing Josh—an extraordinary accomplishment, especially as one of the youngest performers taking part.
The International All-Stars went on to enjoy a series of unforgettable opportunities, including opening the entire festival in front of an audience of 10,000 people. Their performance was so impressive that the group also received the Musical Excellence Award, a fantastic recognition of their skill and teamwork.
Harvey’s success is a tremendous achievement and a source of great pride for our school community.
