Former Whitchurch High School Student Celebrates Gold Duke of Edinburgh Achievement
Whitchurch High School is incredibly proud to share some wonderful news about former student, Angharad, and her recent achievements.
Angharad was recently invited to Buckingham Palace to celebrate the completion of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. This prestigious honour recognises her dedication, resilience and sustained commitment over an extended period. Achieving Gold status is a remarkable accomplishment, and attending such a special celebration made the milestone even more memorable.
Adding to this success, Angharad has secured a place on a Supported Internship programme at the Parkgate Hotel, which she will begin in September 2026. This exciting opportunity marks an important next step in her journey, reflecting her growing independence, confidence and ambition.
It has been a privilege to support Angharad during her time at Whitchurch High School, and we are immensely proud of all she has achieved. We wish her every success as she moves forward into this next chapter.
