Students Inspired at Empower Girls into Tech Event
A group of our students recently attended the Empower Girls into Tech event at the University of South Wales, organised by CyberFirst Wales, where they enjoyed an inspiring day exploring the exciting world of technology and digital innovation.
Throughout the event, students took part in a range of hands-on activities designed to showcase the diverse opportunities available within the technology sector. They had the chance to explore topics including cyber security, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, gaining valuable insight into some of the fastest-growing areas of the digital industry.
A particular highlight of the day was the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals working across the technology sector. Hearing first-hand experiences from industry role models helped students to better understand the wide variety of career pathways available and the skills needed to succeed in the digital world.
We were delighted to see our students engaging so enthusiastically with the activities, asking thoughtful questions, and embracing the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and aspirations. Their curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm were evident throughout the day.
