Whitchurch High School Carol Service Brings Community Together at Llandaff Cathedral
The annual Carol Service at Llandaff Cathedral once again brought the Whitchurch High School community together for an evening that marked the start of the Christmas season in proper style.
The service remains one of the school’s most valued traditions. Students performed a wide range of choral and orchestral pieces, alongside thoughtful readings that reflected both the season and the year the school has shared. Families, staff, and friends filled the cathedral and joined in the carols, creating an atmosphere that was warm, reflective, and genuinely uplifting.
Headteacher Mr John praised the students for their commitment and professionalism: “This service shows what our school is about. The standard of performance, the teamwork behind the scenes, and the way students carry themselves on the night make us all very proud.”
Thanks go to all students and staff involved in organising and performing, and to everyone who attended to support them.
We wish our whole community a peaceful Christmas and a happy new year.
