Young Playwrights' Festival

This year’s 34th Young Playwrights’ Festival was an outstanding success, with a fantastic number of entries from Year 7, 8, and 9 students. Nine plays were selected, three from each year group, and directed by our talented A Level Drama students.

As in recent years, the plays were not only written and performed by the students themselves but also supported by our expanding team of technicians and backstage crew, who worked tirelessly to ensure the performances ran smoothly.

A packed Drama Studio was treated to a series of brilliant and often hilarious productions, making the 34th Young Playwrights’ Festival a cheerful and festive highlight of the season.
