Whitchurch High School Students Lead Remembrance Sunday Tribute at Whitchurch Cenotaph
On Remembrance Sunday, Whitchurch High School students Fae Sullivan and Tomos Walker represented the school with great dignity, laying a wreath at the Whitchurch Cenotaph in Cardiff. This solemn ceremony was a part of the national tribute to those who have served and sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Joined by members of the local community, Fae and Tomos stood alongside veterans, families, and other residents to honour those who have given everything in service. The wreath-laying marked a poignant moment for everyone in attendance, bringing people together to reflect on the importance of remembrance and the legacy left by those who served.
Whitchurch High School is deeply honoured to have had student leaders participate in this moving act of respect, standing as symbols of our school’s commitment to remembering those who have come before us.
In the words of the students: “Today, we remember and honour all who have sacrificed, so that we might live in peace.”
Lest we forget.
