Sports Day

This year's Annual Sports Day was a resounding success, bringing together over 1200 lower school students for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and athletic prowess. The event, held on the school's expansive sports field, saw students cheering passionately for their peers, creating an electric atmosphere that underscored the spirit of the day.

In a display of remarkable talent and teamwork, Form 7G emerged victorious in the Year 7 category, amassing an impressive 263 points. The Year 8 competition was fiercely contested, with Form 8J clinching the top spot with 314 points. Meanwhile, the Year 9 event saw Form 9K securing their win with a total of 316 points.

The success of Sports Day was made possible through the meticulous coordination of the sports and fitness faculty, who were ably assisted by the Year 10 GCSE students. Their combined efforts ensured that the day ran smoothly and that every student had the opportunity to participate and shine in their respective events.

Our Head Teacher, Mr. John, handed out the form awards. He praised the students for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. "Today, we witnessed not just athletic talent, but the embodiment of our school spirit and community values. Every participant should be proud of their efforts and achievements," Mr. John remarked.

Overall, this year's Sports Day was a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of our students, staff, and volunteers. It not only celebrated athletic achievement but also fostered a sense of community and school spirit that will be remembered for years to come.
