We recognise that the move from GCSE’s to A-Level study is challenging and we have created a sixth form which makes this transition as easy as possible providing students with both independence and structured support.
Our sixth form offers a vast array of qualifications at all levels providing academic rigor, pastoral support and guidance to give pupils the qualifications and personal development needed for success in any chosen field. Students are able to explore the subjects that interest them within a vibrant, friendly and purposeful learning environment.
Our academic programme prepares students for top universities and careers, focussing on providing depth as well as breadth.

Whitchurch High School works in partnership with a number of other schools in Cardiff to ensure that a wide range of subjects are available. If there is a subject that you wish to study that is not listed on our website, please see Mrs L Ozturk, Mrs K Davies, Mr J Davies (Assistant Headteacher) who will provide advice on courses available at partner schools.
All students at Whitchurch follow a programme of guidance and support to ensure that they are following an appropriate and individual leaning pathway which matches their aspirations.
