All students have access to support for their learning and wellbeing in Whitchurch High School.
Each class will have a Form Tutor and each year group a Learning Leader and Pastoral support Assistant. Together with the subject teachers this team is dedicated to providing support for the student to reach their potential throughout school.
The Pastoral Support Assistant for year 7 will have worked with our feeder Primary schools to help the transition process be as smooth as possible and will share important information with staff to ensure that the student has the best possible start on their journey in Whitchurch High school.
The Additional Learning Needs Coordinator (ALNCo) will know of students with ALN through this transition process and will meet with the Primary ALNco's to share information.
The ALNCo attends the two Year 6 parents’ evenings in September (Open evening) and June (Year 6 parent’ Information evening).
