Celebrating Student Leadership
Celebrating Student Leadership with Rotary Cardiff Breakfast Club
We are incredibly proud of Pearl, who has received her Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) from Rotary Cardiff Breakfast Club following the successful completion of the three-day RYLA leadership programme.
The programme gave Pearl the opportunity to develop important skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership. As part of the award presentation, she delivered an excellent presentation to Rotary members, reflecting on her experiences and the impact the programme has had on her personal development.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to celebrate the work of our Interact Club. Our current Interact Presidents, Fatma and Porshad, spoke to Rotary members about the fantastic fundraising activities already undertaken by the club and shared some of their exciting plans for the future.
It was fantastic to see all three students representing Whitchurch High School with such confidence, enthusiasm and maturity, while demonstrating their commitment to leadership and making a positive difference within their community.
Everyone at Whitchurch High School is extremely proud of Pearl, Fatma and Porshad and we look forward to seeing their leadership continue to develop.
Congratulations to Pearl on her RYLA achievement, and well done to Fatma and Porshad for their continued leadership of our Interact Club!
